The Artists' Studio, Hamilton County's premiere center for the performing arts, will be presenting "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" from Jan. 19 to Feb. 11.Shows will be at 8 p.m. Fridays, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 5 p.m. Sundays.The show stars Fishers resident Nick Rehmel as Joseph and Ashley Garland of Indianapolis as the Narrator.
The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Joseph is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams, and his father's favorite son. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. He is purchased by the Rotifers where thwarting advances from the Mrs. lands him in jail.
